‘Sword and Shield’ – Episode 4 – “Chase Comes To Visit”

Ugh, talk about a terrible tech week. The bad news is I’m still coming in low and Andrew had some internet issues. If you listen to the cast with some headphones, you should have no problem. Oh, the good news. I found the Gain control for my mic. So I should be coming in loud and clear next week. Thank goodness. Despite the troubles, Chase tells some cool stories, and you can bet we’re bringing him back for another round of storytelling. We also touch upon some new releases in the gaming world and I have them explain to me what Mysterium is. Enjoy the show.

‘Sword and Shield’ – Episode 2 – “It’s a Conspiracy!”

Hey everyone! We’re back with another episode of Sword and Shield. I guess some of you actually liked it, so we did another episode. This week, we’ve got Andrew Pegg-Wheat. If you’ve ever ordered a card from the store and recieved it by mail, Andrew is the guy who probably packed the card for you and shipped it. On this week’s episode, we talk about some Pokemon, Netrunner, and then tackle Conspiracy 2: The Empty Throne. However, Wizards has been having fun and changed the name again. Now it’s Conspiracy 2: Empty Throne!

 

Also in this episode, my mic sounded low. I’m always working on perfecting the sound quality, so let me know if you have any suggesstion (or if you want to buy me some professional equipment). Anyways, sit back and enjoy the show. Don’t forget to share it with your friends as well!

Sword And Shield Ep.1 – Are We On To Something?

It’s been a while. But we’re back and we’re trying something new here. We all know it’s impossible to get a minute alone with Derek Lloyd. Somehow, we were able to get him alone for almost an hour! In what could be a continuing series, Derek takes time from his busy day to talk about the store. We touch upon games we’re playing as well as some upcoming events at the store. Some of the other subjects we tackle include Eternal Masters, PAX East, and the move from Plainville to Norton.

Format: Two-Headed Giant Sealed Deck**
Date: February 20th Saturday afternoon
Time: 2:00pm in ABINGTON
Time: 2:00pm in PLAINVILLE
Entrance Fee: $30.00 per person
This event will run 4 rounds
SPACE IS LIMITED! Please talk to someone at the store or email me at ChaseLaq@gmail.com to preregister. Payment is required to guarantee your spot.
Prizes: Each player will receive 1 booster pack of Oath of the Gatewatch for every match their team wins.
Our Two-Headed Giant event will provide players with another opportunity to play in the AWESOME Oath of the Gatewatch Sealed Deck format WITH A PARTNER! Each team will be receiving two Oath of the Gatewatch Prerelease Packs (with promo and lifecounter) with which to build two 40-card decks.
