In order to have prizes for the winners at the end of the league I would like to have a entry fee.

What amount do you all believe is fair?

The league will run 6 weeks.  Entry fee is a one time thing at the begining of the league.

I like em but am curious as to how crazy the wysiwyg rules will be?  Is it based on upgrade gear or all gear?  Is basing considered painting?

Can FW lists (no fliers or superheavies) be used?

Doesn't say flyers, or supers can't be used as long as its below 33 armour. No supers I know are though, but some flyers I know are.

They tend to use more specialized rules.

I wanted to use the Servants of Slaughter / Renegade Guard list which boils down to 3rd ed guard codex with random leadership, beastmen, chaosy ogryn, mutants.  I can show you the list sometime soon.

I've personally noticed that alot of the FW stuff tends to keep in line with the GW stuff, and in some cases the FW stuff can come in under powered.  I have one of the imperial armour books I can let you look at if you want to get a feel for how FW does things up.

Since you are the "tournament" organizer, you decide what is legal.  Is it usually legal in a normal tournament setting? No.  Have I used it in tournaments in the past?  Sure, ones that allowed for FW lists.  It is not a "codex" list but it does fit within normal 40k rules unlike say the old LatD list.  The list is stand alone.

Sorry for the delay had some unfortunate computer issues over the Holiday.  I have no problems with the FW lists.  With the league starting next week I will be in tonight to set up the roster sheet and so on.

Bryan,

No all the players do not have to be there Monday.  Monday is the official day to meet for the league.  Games as long as they are arranged may be played any time during the week.  Monday is the day we will try to gather to talk smack, issue challenges and do battle.

Just make sure to sign the roster so I know you are in the league.  Also if you cant make Monday please still post your roster by Monday to ensure fairplay by all.
