happy thanksgiving gang! yes if it it is ok for me to return my schedule is quite clear in fact i dont have any classes on fridays whatsoever which is awesome! can i get a quick run-down on recent story events? just to get a feel to what to make since har don is my old characters twin and would ruin his fun. ill let you know definitly asap if i am able to return:)

You should make a character at 5th level to join the group.  I plan to update the little plot points thread I made sometime shortly, if I can stop playing Dragon Age when I'm home long enough to do it.

i saw on the dragon age origins website that there making a pen and paper game, sounds interesting but still alot like DnD

dragon age is awesome im up to the denerim climax almost at the dragon. ive yet to find a decent off handed weapon since the enchanted dagger though... level 5 you say? sounds good to me have faced undead or the like alot or mostly the usual dnd baddies?

Sure, you can assume you've fought whatever typical things a dude who's level 5 might have fought.

sounds good see you on next friday definitly. our group seems to be a dominating force of strikers backed by a super healer and (assuming) a super defender, so ill play a deva avenger so tom and i didnt fight for dual wielding weapons
btw billy, you played one before any avenger tips bud

avengers are fun, depends on how you want to play it, i went the high ac through the roof and maneuverability, thats where the elf avenger came in, can shift through difficult terrain and almost all the pursuing avengers abilitys let you shift, theres also the other one from phb2 (cant think of it right now which punishes enemys when you get hit. theres also the one from divine power but i havent looked into that myself so i cant really give an opinion on it.

right now im retribution. the dp build gives you +1 damage for each adjacent ally which isnt really any better than retribution for an intelligence build. my feats are:
executioners axe prof.
feat that adds my racial powers rolll to damage
and feat that makes the roll d8s for my racial power.
ill be in cloth for a while because next feat is oath strike, then i was going leather then imp.  armor of faith
