Come celebrate the release of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition at Battleground!


Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition (DND Next) will be released on Friday, August 8th and that Saturday, August 9th, we will have a full line-up of events to help you explore the new edition! Come down, build characters, meet people, and play some D&D!

Early in the day on Saturday, August 9th, we'll offering a character creation workshop.

Later in the day on Saturday, August 9th, we will be running a series of events we're calling "The King's Tournament." These events are designed to allow people a chance to create and play with a variety of different characters throughout the day.



Some of the King's Tournament events may include:

•  The Joust

•  A giant, player vs. player free-or-all

•  A Renaissance Hero Competition - (characters go through a series of challenges to prove their skill in various fields, including an arm wrestling contest, an archery competition, a drinking contest, a chess tournament, finding three needles in a haystack, and the ever dangerous talent competition.)

•  Catch the Greased-Up Goblin!

•  Monster Fight Arena where players will be pitted against a random fearsome monster!
