My friend told me about this tourney. I have never been to your store but this sounds really interesting. Hope you guys are ready for a army of angry nuns with guns.

I am rolling in with nothing but pewter!

Looking for a little heavy artillery to back them up?

Due to some screwup in their gene-seed genetic radiation protection, all Salamanders are black...We're talking coal black, pitch black, hexadecimal code #000000, the missing word in the phrase "...as the void of space." That kind of black. With glowing red eyes.

Thank you for the offer! But alas, the sisters have found a ally already!

12ish, I think.

I expect several more to register as the event draws closer.  It looks like there might be a team or two that have gotten together through this thread but has yet to email me.

Please remember to email me as soon as you know you'll be playing.

Hey guys, I've got an Ork player who may be interested in playing if he can find another Ork player to join him.

Let me know.

I think I asked about this for a previous tournament, but if you own the digital edition of a codex, I assume that's accepted as your copy of the codex as long as you have some kind of reader? (Will be bringing it on Nook HD, as well as my phone and probably Erin's as well)

Yup.  Just have it on some kind of reader (preferably not a phone).

Another question I hadn't thought about until now, Sorry if it has been brought up and I missed it

Are the new rules for Terrain in play at all? (datasheets and whatnot) If not, I assume we're sticking with generalized rules for simplicity's sake? I'm assuming the latter (I certainly would not envy the person trying to figure out which terrain pieces were balanced on each tournament board, yeesh x_X)

If by "new rules" you mean the new rules in the 7th edition book, yes.  If you mean "new rules" like the specific rules governing the GW terrain kits, the answer is no.

Lots of our terrain is made up from GW kits, we plan to treat them as if they were not.

Just because that Imperial Bastion is, in fact, an Imperial Bastion GW kit, it doesn't mean we will be using the new rules that govern it, etc. etc.

This may change for future events.

Unfortunately, because they took forever putting the book out, we can't allow it in the event.  As much as I want to, the reasons for why it's not really an option are:

1) We have to check lists before the event starts.  With less than 24 hours lead time, this isn't possible.
2) Familiarity.  Players can't possibly be familiar with their book and their opponents are likely to have never seen it.
and 3) We DO NOT want a situation where one player in the event is using the old codex and another player is using the new one.

The new models (units) will also not be allowed due to the codex not being allowed.  Please don't put blame on me here.  I feel like it should be on GWs stupid "new" release schedule.

Please email me ASAP, Rob.  The event is very close to being full and a couple of teams seem to be out there but haven't emailed me to officially register yet.

If you're out there and planning to play, you MUST email me to register ahead of time (like right now).
