Come down to Battleground on Saturday, May 24th and celebrate the launch of 7th Edition Warhammer 40000!

Battleground is super interested in what the new edition has to offer.  All day on May 24th we'll be around looking to talk shop, talk 40k, talk about the future, and try out the new rules.

While we're talking, both location will have a limited number of Space Marine figures we'll be offering up to people for a free "Paint and Take."  If you'd like to leave your completed Space Marine behind, we'll put it on display for you in one of the store's display cases.  A small number of paints and brushes will be made available.

For some added value, both locations will be entering the name of everyone who buys their 7th edition rulebook at Battleground on May 24th into a drawing for a "Vortex Grenade" army transport case!

DONE. Sorry but, how does GW plan on staying in busness? Its been what, 2 years since 6th edition and they already adding another. I dont plan on buying this new rule book, and if it is another big chage in game play, im just going to stick to 6th edition.

If rumors are true, a lot of these changes will make the game better. But, different strokes I suppose...

I love the new art direction on this thing. The crappy hand-drawn borders adorning the 6E book felt really phoned in and were kind of distracting. This one seems much cleaner from what I've seen. Easier to memorize!

I'll be there with ALL the Orks. Like every single Ork in the world.
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

Then the Salamanders shall meet you in glorious battle!

If the Orks believe it so, then it shall be done  ::)
Due to some screwup in their gene-seed genetic radiation protection, all Salamanders are black...We're talking coal black, pitch black, hexadecimal code #000000, the missing word in the phrase "...as the void of space." That kind of black. With glowing red eyes.

It was still fun summoning flesh hounds with Orks even though I didn't quite do it right.
