Shenanigans everywhere!  ;D

I suppose that it's important to note that the rounds are pretty long.  For those of you making heavy use of the D, it might be a good idea to be prepared to offer your opponent a second game.  Maybe bring smaller lists for fun?  Who knows.  :)

All my opponents will love my Heavy D.

Can I have 2 army lists from 2 different codices as primary, or does the same army book have to be primary in both?

Listen guys, this is the last tourney of 6th ed so I want everyone to go all out.. hold nothing back. The "Smoking Boots" award should be super competitive.. the beatings should be so bad that your opponent will \ragequit and then check himself into therapy the next day.

Seriously bros, the wins need to be super traumatic.

Good luck!!  ;D

I suppose I should have included something about this.

Please use the same book to represent your primary in each list.

Just out of curiosity Apocalypse formations like green tide aren't allowed are they?
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

The Apocalypse specific formations are not allowed.  My intent was to run this as a 40k tournament making use of all of the 40k rules supplements.  It's my opinion that Apocalypse is it's own game.

I apologize if this has confused anyone.

SERIOUSLY. It's like a Table-Ladders-Chairs match and someone gets in trouble for using a sledgehammer.

If it is somehow allowed by the rules + supplements + add ons, yes.

I'mm pretty sure there's no way to get around needing at least 1 HQ though.

3000 points opens up the double force org so you could have up to 12 tac squads (more if you ally with another chapter). If you give everyone meltas and drop pods you should be able to.

So yeah I just got back from the tournament and of 11 or 12 who signed up only me and two other people showed up. Which is a real shame since the scenarios for the event were really cool and would have given armies without super heavies a good fighting chance. Anyway we ended up doing a big 3 way battle. It was a lot of fun bit not the big epic send off for 6ththe edition I'd hoped it would be.

Sorry I couldn't make it, 3 family obligations ended up dominating my weekend. Glad you liked the scenarios, I helped Chase whip them up with the idea of cooler/narrative objectives in mind.

What did the armies you guys brought look like? Also, if you're DAPatrick on the Dorka boards, we could try to get a game in with those missions on our own sometime.

No I'm not on the Dorka boards. I didn't have anything to special mostly just a bunch of cyborks. The other Pat had a bunch of white scar bikers led by Khan, some space wolves, and an imperial knight. I think it was Mike had Tau/Eldar ,an inquisitor, a couple void shield generators, and an Eldar super heavy tank.
