Right, which seems reasonable.... I guess. My point is that a "Codex" always used to define a full blown playable army with a large number variety of units.
Is that out the window, in favor of adding a dozen or so small codices (Knights, Legion of the Damned, Inquisition (although I haven't actually seen/read the inquisition book, is it like this?)) on top of the standard codices (C:SM, C:Tau, C:Daemons, etc.) AND the supplements (Farsight, Iyanden, Rauken)?
It's an exciting time to be a player who likes variety, I guess, but what are we losing in exchange (I guess balance....)? I think it's cool that GW is producing new content and new models from awesome ideas in its past (SQUAT CLOCK RESET) but what about the awesome codices we have that are sorely in need of an update (Orks)?
