Errr, I remember when one assault squad would leapfrog through an entire army. It wasn't good.

Ok, maybe 7th is around the corner, and everything will be great.  But I'm real tired of this "everything is broken now, but we'll fix it in 6 months" philosophy. The games I'm playing now matter too.

Things were only balanced for a couple months after 6th came out anyway, then stuff got crazy again.

Yes the whole leapfrog thing was bad too, one unit of genestealers would destroy an entire tau army lol. In Fantasy there are modifiers to shooting, but I doubt that will happen for 40k.

I understand all of the points about leapfrogging through an army, but the reality is that we have something like that now with shooting.  There is basically no balance whatsoever between assault and shooting, and ultimately my point is that I'd like to see that rectified.  Is consolidating into assault the way to fix that?  Dunno.

Right now, it's fairly hard to get into assault and unless you can sweep the enemy (which I find to be fairly rare this edition, either you were fighting marines that auto-rallied or killed almost everything anyways), there's no real reward to winning combat. You're just next to all of the other guys things to get double tapped the next turn. Consolidating into combat might help with that, especially if you allow units that had not already fired overwatch to overwatch a unit consolidating in.

It's a rumor site and a pretty good one at that.  There are disclaimer's everywhere on the site.  If you're looking for solid 100% aacurate info, no this site is not for you.  If you want to read up on what people are hearing and talking about then it is a very entertaining site.

It's always wrong, and they just repost rumors from other sites.. remember all that ridiculous crap they posted about Tyranids?? There are far more accurate rumor sites out there.

I remember when they got things so right that GW legal slapped them hard.

What site are you a fanboy of and lets just get this part over with.

I'm a Reddit fanboy.  Crap for 40k rumors (frankly, I'm not even sure if there's a 40k subreddit... there probably is), but I like it anyway, and you can't take that away from me.  FLAME ON Y'ALL.

Seriously though, chill the hell out.  Rumors sites are like meteorologists.  Sometimes, they're right, sometimes they forecast sunshine and you get three feet of snow.  Am I about to argue about it?  Psssht.

More repetition of blanket statements and less clarifying why you feel the way you do in a spirited debate...you win the site sucks and so does my opinion.

I've followed Harry & Hastings on Warseer for years, and more recently 40k Radio.. which I have already stated.

Harry and Hastings are the best rumor guys out there.  but it usually about new models(and infering new army books based on that).

Yes they've been great for the last decade or so, but I think 40K Radio have taken the spot for #1. 40K Radio also posts on Warseer as Lion275.. check it out, this is even from January http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?388438-40K-Radio-Imperial-Knights-in-March
