Most Wed. nights are good for me. I actually found my warband list from before, so to be fair I should probably "reset" it to a new 500c list. Wife is unsure as of right now. Said "wel see." haha! So probably no her.

"Men prepare your hammers and axes. Soon we march out for gold and glory. Oh yeah don't forget the ale." Overheard, at the bar, from Sam leader of the Thunderhammers.

i believe wednesday nights works for just about everyone or at lest the majority of the playerbase.  resetting all the bands is most fair since most probablly lost or threw out the old list and if new players faced most of our bands it would be slaughter.

I better go get the cheese...

I'll work out  a new 500 coin list this weekend and have it ready by next Wed. night. Anyone else wanna play that night? Some touch-ups on afew models needs to be done as well. It won't be 100% see what you get, but it'll be close. I know thats not so much a big deal, but thought I'd mention it.

do we allow amazons? they seem cool.

people should play for that exact reason warpedfuzz, there isnt a what you see rule unless you want the models to and you can proxy so there isnt a ton of money, plus gw gives the rulebook free as pdfs ;D

ill try to be down wednesday if you will be there. 500 points im either runnin possessed or amazons depending on allowed...

I see no problem with amazons being allowed. There's enough warbands to choose from, what's one more. I've got the complete book if that helps.

I did have a question: A starting hero has xp to start with. That covers say 10 black boxes. When you cover a box U usually get a skill. Does this count for starting warbands too? I forgoten how that was ruled. Let me know.

Enjoy your weekend.

thanks doug you too :)

the boxes is how you level up but the initial expirience a model starts with does not give an advancement roll, they are given that much so all models are close to equal. which is why the cheaper models have 0 exp since they will become better faster (in theory).

in almost every forum i have seen all the pros have noted to always start with max heroes, since they level up and get skills.

so no, no models start with skills unless specified under that model ( for example the carnival brute model starts with strongman)

i hope this clarifies things for you

so i was writing up my list for new possessed, and i realized my band of just 5 heroes came to 690gc  :o

double great claws was gonna own people, but that adds an extra 150gc to both of my 90gc possessed(s)

but im still going on, unfortunately ill have to settle for one claw... sad panda
