Page 44 BRB, Infantry.

Notes:

Jump and Jet Pack (p 47) are not specific classifications of a model type, so Jump Infantry and Jet Pack Infantry still count as Infantry.

Artillery crews are typically Infantry models. (I couldn't think of an example for which this wasn't true.)

Bikes, notably, are not infantry.

Pretty sure you can still win if you table the other guy. ;)

I'm sure he did it more because of eldar jetbikes.  But yeah, that's a notable, unfortunate point.

Yeah, I'm not 100% I can make it, but I was planning on bringing Deathwing/Ravenwing....and really don't care if the bikes can score...more concerned if I can actually get the time to come.

There were a number of units I considered when constructing the rule (Flying MCs, Vehicles, Walkers). I simply thought it was easiest and was still relatively in line with the Troops-theme that pervades most missions.

If an all-bike list has to take a Land Speeder of outflanking Scouts to try and win the mission, I'm not saying that's a bad plan...

Do remember. Attackers can start 24" away from deployment and are guaranteed to go first. It should be a bloody good time!

Not sure if I could make the time for this (the negative of having small children...saturdays are tight), but it sounds like a barrel of fun.  And I am sure everyone would have barrels of fun slaughtering my Orks.

What would be the latest you could register for this?

Huh?  What do you mean by "24 inches from deployment"?  Wouldn't the deployment zone be 24" bigger, then?

Hmm, Friday night before 10pm seems about right for this one.  It'll be a relatively small event this time around.

For the second mission, because of the triangular shape of the Attacker deployment zone. the attackers can deploy just about at the center of the table, while the Defenders are 12" from their short board edge.

It's the same distance across as all the traditional long-edge deployments, but it's so much more claustrophobic when you're Defending on the short edge.
