I've never played an Apoc game. I have a lot of points, but it's mostly infantry type. Will that suck at 4000 points? (Take too long to move stuff around and shoot?)

That depends on what army your playing:  4000 points of Grey Knights can be as little as say 20 models. 4000 points of Imperial Guard? That's what 300 or so models?

I routinely field 350ish guard infantry.  Takes several people working together to set up.  I try to take a defensive position so I don't have to move them much.

In these numbers the flashlights are almost tanning bed level of effective.
