No Holiday box? Or is that done in January?
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

If it's popular, it's definitely popular a world away.  I can say that much.

Hmmm. Looks like the expansions that were rumored are coming.

That Escalation Codex is supposedly what allows superheavies in normal 40k.

Wonder if it is just going to be like Apocalypse in that it is a new game type and not just the addition of super heavies into the main game.

We'll see.

I can't really see how letting the big things into the "normal" game will be good for the integrity of the game.

I also can't see GW giving a fuck.

I do suppose it makes my 3000 point Apoc "torunament" less cool.  Look for that in Jan or Feb in Abington.

Just got off the phone with the rep.

The book containing superheavies is an EXPANSION and is meant to plug right into the existing rules.  They do allow for superheavies and gargantuan creatures.

Each player will have 1 "special slot" (I forget the name) in their FoC for the big nasty things.  It must be from your primary detachment.  There's supposedly a few equalizers, like a special Warlord chart to roll on if your opponent is taking one, +1 to seize the init, etc.

All the armies that don't currently have a big thing have a FW model that "approved" to take it's place.

Space Marines in all of their forms get............  A Thunderhawk.  I guess that lends some weight to the plastic T-hawk rumors.

it's a "lords of war choice". Supposedly limited to only 16 items, they would be fools if they didn't include those new 160 dollar kits for Necrons and CSM but since when has GW ever made sense?

a 3000 point tourney DOES sound cool, and if you left it open to everything instead of the 16 items in the book that would probably draw more interest... would also be cooler if it was in Plainville instead since they got the 2500. Ha!
