Beginning this Wednesday, November 27th, Battleground in Plainville will be running two-hour Encounters sessions in two time slots: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, and 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM. These sessions will continue for the entire thirteen weeks of the Encounters season, as the adventure in Icewind Dale unfolds. This season will also feature convention-style seating, allowing you to meet new players and DMs, and ensuring you always have enough allies to face the deadliest threats.
This season will use the final playtest rules for D&D Next, the upcoming edition of Dungeons & Dragons. If you haven't tried the new rules yet, now's your chance! There will be no entry fee for character creation night, so stop on by!
Want to try something new? During the 7:30 PM Encounters sessions, Plainville's resident Dungeon Master, Sam, will be running a series of one-shot RPGs and board game demos. Find out what lies beyond the borders of D&D! (And maybe fight dinosaur zombies, Sam says. He's not kidding.)
The entry fee will continue to be just $4.00 per player, which will go to the DMs in store credit in gratitude for their continued outstanding performance.
