One thing I like is how people really try to do something different at these tournaments. It'd be pretty easy to choose flavor of the month and play Tau & Tau or Tau & Eldar, but not one team did that. In other words, we have a really awesome community.

Great tourney, I may have enjoyed this more than any other BG tourney I've attended.  All three games Roger and I played were nailbiters against really tough armies, and everyone was very polite and folks seemed interested in just seeing how things would turn out.  10 out of 10.

Hey, so in the spirit of how you post the winning / toppish lists, I have a request for future events.  Could you post pics of the winning appearance armies?  I finally saw Troy's mountain in person, and it was amazing, but I didn't see the other teammates that won 2nd and 3rd place (nor did I get a real good look at Troy's actual dwarves)  Too much running around between rounds.   Appearance is where I'm looking to continue to improve and it would be inspirational.  Thanks for considering!

I think pictures of Best Appearance is a great idea for a variety of reasons.

Thanks Chase, Sam and Matt for running a great event we had a blast as always.  Was a great day with alot of laughs and high fives.

All of our opponents played tough games and really put the us to the test.  Dan with his missile teams, Jared with his damn riptides!!  and Robs end game relic shennanigans really made it a great day.  Thanks to everyone!

Also want to give a shout out to Dean for putting my vision into reality with the paint.  I spent alot of time converting and painting bases and such he he took my army to the next level!!  Also I am fianlly glad that i can display the mountain in all of its glory and the feedback I have gotten has been amazing makes the 5 months worth of contruction all worth it.

Great event, my team finished just 2 points shy from 3rd (got 0 in the last game, but we were in contention for first)! Had a lot more fun than I thought I would, I was expecting to get tabled by goofy FW armies every game and I don't think I saw any FW units at all.

Another little feature request here - maybe add a column for "From" from the standings? Like, where the people drove from?   People are coming from pretty far away to these things and it's brag-worthy, as well as being kind of interesting to look at.

I would also like to say if people from Canada drive down again even if we are in the middle of setting up pull us and make sure they dont get a bye.  I know their opponents were supposed to show up and half the team did but that just sucked especially when Mike and I had the bye to begin with.

I felt bad.

Another great plainville tournament in the books. Had 3 great games against 6 great opponents. (Doubles always seems to be more fun)

Looking forward to whatever the next one is... trios early december? Templecon prep in january perhaps?
