Matt Do you play at BG?

Has BG made a ruleing?

Do you wish to continue to play at BG?

I think these 3 questions resolve this argument :)  Besides we have more important things to worry about like Terrain parties!!

At BG.  ONLY at BG.

ETC, which is basically the world championships of Warhammer has a base size chart to deal with this issue.  So it isn't just BG.

Also, Templecon will be doing this as well.

or you could just buy a new, bigger base and glue the smaller base on it and look, all set.

ive dont it with my old school, snap on 360 turning terminators. If you still worried about it being just a tad bit taller, you could just cut a hole in the bigger base and put the smaller base in

this seems like a great option to those who have a model they dont want to rebase.

ive already done this with the new centurians, put them on a 40mm resin base that matches the rest of my army and glued the new 50mm underneath to be legal.

I dont know how many times this has happened in the past but I know I've never seen a terminator on a 25 mm base. I mean what is out there right now that changed? The eldar wraith guard and avatar? Tau broadsides?

chase has made his ruling, its a simple fix and nobody wants to be "that guy" at a tournament

WHat are you talking about with Centurions?  They're brand new, they've only ever had one base size.

exactly, 50mm is a new size that no one has seen before and no companies make an aftermarket base for. So I put my centurians on a 40mm base to match my army and then glued it to a 50mm base to be legal.

which is basicly what we are talking about to make these older models legal which is why i mentioned it

I get what he meant, that there wasn't scenic base of the right size.

In other news, you know the painting judge at NOVA told me he gave me a below-average score because I didn't paint my gravel?  True story.

I am just curious when everyone stops responding to your nonsense and verbal tantrums are you just going to argue with yourself?  Chase owes you NOTHING, he has no obligation to acknowledge anything based on your requests.  He has clarified this issue before and that's the end of it.

You know what's funny, Mike?  I think we were just on the verge of dropping it.  So, y'know, way to pick at it.

Both tantrums and nonsense are in the eye of the beholder.

Jason,

Warmachine Warjacks use 50mm bases, so you could just get scenic ones of those...of course you have to deal with the round edges (which at this point, I really like.  I wish 40K used the round edged bases standard)

I do like the look of the rounded Warmachine bases Robert, they're a lot nicer than the stock GW ones. Scibor (where i get my bases from) has some good looking rounded model lines, unfortunately the line i've been using for my SM army doesn't have any 50mm ones which is why i went the route i did.

My GKT are on rounded bases, cuz the scenic bases I wanted to use had 25mm bases, but only the less-than 40mm bases you fit on the 40mm rounded, if that makes sense.
