Standard FOC no FW missions have been adjusted to normal standards due to feedback from yours truly.

Game On really needs some juice publicizing their events. 

They have a website, didn't put this tourney on the website.  They have a facebook page where they post magic events and stuff, didn't post this tourney there either. 

I live half an hour from this store and have been to about 6 or 7 events there in the past, I play games often with a guy that lives half a mile from it, and I STILL don't often hear about their 40k tourneys.   

I remember Kevin complaining on the 11th company podcast that only 3 people showed up to his charity tournament at Game On, so he had to cancel it, but the only way I heard about it was on the 11th company (which came out after the tournament). 

How does anybody find out about these things?

They get posted loosely on some low volume Facebook groups, but that's only been happening recently.

For better or worse their TO scheduled this on a Magic Prerelease weekend...  The Prerelease for what is shaping up to be one of the best / hottest sets of all time...

I have NO idea how they're going to fit people in there, especially if they get a decent turnout for either 40k or Magic (both of our stores will be FULL of Magic guys all weekend), but fortunately that's not my problem!  ;)

Best of luck to Game On and all who attend!  Both the owner, TO, and Kevin seem like nice people.

Is there a forum or facebook event for this anywhere? Any kind of posting? Thinking of going but I'd like to make sure it's for reals before I drive out there.

Also, what are the painting requirements?

Fun tournament, congrats to Jared on coming in 2nd! I was up for first but made 2 mistakes that ended up costing me the game (I also rolled a 1 for the black mace on the turn the grimoire failed, but that's more dice than a mistake I could fix).
