There is that line from Butch Cassady and the Sundance Kid...  "Rules?  In a knife fight? No rules!"

I don't believe there is a link up yet for the rules, however, the tendency is usually the same:
-2500 points of a current, legal ( not appendix or white dwarf list ) army
-no painting requirements
-no sportsmanship scores, no painting scores, no composition scores

Thats about it. To sum the 'Ard Boyz tournaments up: Make the most abusive, blatantly exploitative, win at all costs army you can think of. Don't expect to make friends, especially with prizes for top finishers, any degree of sincerity and mercy is gone. Welcome to the tournament environment created by Games Workshop.

I also thought there was no cost associated with it.

I think some of the worst lists BG saw were my 3 land raider berserker / plague marine, typhus and kharne list and Paul's horde Orks which went on to winning the event.

It can be fun but I could not imagine someone at BG really being that bad of a jerk with it.  It's fun as most people just make tougher lists than a normal BG tournament.  Just about everyone is a good sport about things.

I don't need rules telling me not to be a jerk, it's called a proper upbringing.

This is all psy-ops. Rich is just trying to make you all think he'll place nice, then.....

I heard the Grey Knight LR spam list was big last year. I think there will be a lot of IG this year. I'm waiting on the store postings.

I'd take 3 possesed LR over GK LR spam any day, ignore 2/3 of the results on a glance. It's quality over quantity  ;D

With the number of expected land raiders, assault termies, and other tough stuff, I was actually thinking an Ork horde list would do great. Playing the metagame is pretty awesome. Paul: do it, again!

Bugger another year missing this. Oh well.

So, for the sake of argument. If the INAT faq is used at Ard boyz and this Vulcan thing for allies is allowed, I think we'll see some ugly builds. Personally I think the sisters is the poorer choice..

if you put terminators in a land raider as a dedicated transport, does it still count as a hvy support thing for the force orginization chart?
