Just a couple of quick announcements / reminders that you may or may not see in other posts I make tonight.
- This weekend is Tax Free Weekend in MA (and maybe other places). It's the perfect time to snag things you've been waiting on. Receipt discount + Tax Free Weekend ends up being 16.25% off of what you'd normally pay. Not too bad.
- If we don't have something in stock (and can get it in the first place) feel free to pre-pay for it this weekend to take advantage of the holiday.
- I plan to place a Battle Foam order this Monday that will restock / take care of both the Abington and Plainville locations. PLEASE email me, PM me, or talk to someone at the store if you're in the market for some Battle Foam. Also, if you prepay for you order this weekend, you'll be able to take advantage of the Tax Free holiday.
- The NOVA Trial Tournament scheduled for August 17th will be canceled due to lack of interest and the fact that several interested parties had to drop. It was a noble effort, but tournament saturation and a 4 round event just wasn't super appealing this time around. We tried.
- Saturday, August 31st, while all of the Grand Tournament / more serious players are down in Virginia blasting the shit out of each other at NOVA, Battleground in Plainville will be hosting a 1500 point Singles tournament geared towards the more casual player. Missions will closely resemble the book. Feel free to email me to sign up at any time after this posting.
- It feels nice to be back at work after a few days away.
