Saturday 40k Plainville
« on: August 01, 2013, 04:42:18 PM »
I'm going to be heading to Battlegrounds Plainville to do some painting and or work on one of my half dozen half finished projects. If anyone wants a game feel free to come by.
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

I will be there as well, although I will likely only paint.  Perhaps a game later in the day, depending on progress.
Too busy being AWESOME to listen to your whining.

FYI most of us that were in the 16 man event plan on hitting Plainsville this Sat for NOVA practice so there will be quite a few of us there.

I meant how is Plainville on Saturday usually if I wanted to just walk in and get a pick up game? My buddy and I are looking for a new place to play.

Usually saturdays are good but its not random.  Games are almost exclusively set up beforehand on Sats.  Thursday is the big day to ust show up.  That being said all it takes is a Hey anyone for a game Sat to get people there.

Many Saturdays have events scheduled, so just make sure to check the calendar before you head down to the store. And you can always call, in case you're uncertain.

I expect that there will be quite a few 40k players in Plainville this Saturday.

Most of them will be looking for competitive AND constructive 1850pt games as they test their lists for the NOVA Open in a couple weeks.

It might be a good time to come down and check out what they're up to, what's going on, and get a game or slap some paint on your models.

I'm bringing 1850 points of Squats.

DEAL WITH IT.
