Assembly for the new Flying Stand for the Valykrie

I'm in the process of building a plastic valkyrie to be all of the available options it can be i.e. vendetta, valkyrie with MP or Missiles. It took a little while of staring at the pieces to figure out where the magnets  and metal bitz should go.

The stand is confusing me the most, its had a tab at the top and bottom of the clear piece are these suppose to come off? I think so but it doesn't look like it would be secured very well to the base, or are the tabs suppose to used afterwards to lock the clear piece in?

the tabs on the bottom part snap off, with little in the way of BFF work.  The biggest issue is the fitting of the flying base to the actual model itself, which will require some BFF work.

Thanks that what I thought, It just doesn't look like its built for durable use, 1 drop on the floor and it looks like the clear piece would come flying off

Are there any balance issue's with the stand?

I've had no issues with mine yet. I'm tempted to put some reinforcement under the base but honestly it's worked well.

What I did notice is that the connection is VERY tight with the Valk itself. So you probably want to do some work there so you can easily pull the model off its base and re-add easily.

they gave me the same base for one of my thunderbolt fighters. I figure you could cut a hole in the base to fit the bottom of the stand for a more secure hold.
