So I just got off the phone with my GW rep...

If you would like Codex: Iyanden PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let me know by this Friday.


This book is going to be handled just like that "Death from the Skies" supplement at first, meaning that there's only a limited number of them and they are likely to sell out.  Because GW hates me, they go on sale through the GW website starting THIS FRIDAY.  This means that I will not be able to call and order them for people until the following Monday, at which time the first wave will likely be gone.

What I can do is order them for the store from my personal account and then have GW credit BG for the difference at a later date.  Because this is the only way to make sure the store can get them for you guys, please let me know if you're interested in it.


Codex: Iyanden does require Codex: Eldar to function.  It is NOT stand alone.

Also, if you want the LE Codex: Iyanden I am told to have you guys camp the site and order it ASAP this Friday.  The US only has 200 copies.

So there were a few developments with the book and how they are having us "order" it.  Basically we CAN preorder it like normal, it just won't be shipped until the following Monday, June 17th.

I went online this weekend to order it and didn't see it available.  I sort of freaked out thinking that I missed my chance.  The only thing I could find was the digital copy.  Fortunately (I guess?) they changed their mind and didn't list it at all.... and changed the rules.  /shrug.

From what I heard and not to discourage anyone. It is only 2 pages of rules to playing an Iyanden army. Everything else is Fluff or scenarios for expansions.

The new rules fit on 2 pages of the ipad.  the digital copy has something that organizes them or something?

I was told it's like 7 pages of rule stuff in the book.

 Oh god, not the dreaded Goss Disease. If it becomes a problem or anything let me know, I have no problem picking it up if need be.
