Good game lots of learning with the guard.
Check the FAQ on the web site, you would have been able to assess the WBB rolls for those warriors because of the fall back. (not going to hurt because they could not rally anyway)
Also Phase out is assessed at the beginning of turn as we played it. Don't know why I thought it was right away, but in my copy of the codex it's quite clearly stated at the beginning of the turn..
