Greetings to the armies of the 41st Millenium.  I am Grimwulfe leader of the Black Wolves of Fenris.  Our quest to find the 13th and our Father has led me to the Battlegrounds.  While I am still stuck in the 4th era I shall soon be upgraded to the 5th era and will be hungry for war.  But alas I know no allies in these new battlegrounds and do not know the ways or when the armies mass for battle.

I look forward to meeting the Generals of the armies in open council so I may see the face of thy enemy.

As one of the Generals of the Dark Angels of Battleground I welcome you. Also if you need a sparing parnter sometime I'll try to comply. I enjoy the disorder caused when puppies and angels clash. Right Steve? (the wolf pack alpha of battlegrounds) haha.

Thank you for the replies.  For those who did not understand my previous post, at the moment my army is 4th edition eqpuiped and set up I will be getting 5th edition rules and will hopefully be up to date soon.  I have roughly a 6k-7k point army plus a titan or so.  The question was answered but I was asking when was a good time to play 40k which seems to be Monday and Saturday. 

Its been some time that I have played but I have the bug again and I am eager to start modeling and painting and most of all eager to field the Black Wolves once again.

Some history into who I am, im 31 played 40k since Rouge Trader days and back in 99-03 I attended many Grand Tournaments.  My painting is not GT standard by any means but I was a mean general back in the day.  My real name is Troy.

I'm Rich, I'm 28, I like bike rides and enjoy long walks on the beach.

We aren't too serious a bunch here but just to give you an idea of the culture of 40k around bg-  Unless we are talking about Lee, we tend to run middle of the road lists as far as competition goes.  Fluffy themed armies (like yours sounds like) are highly encouraged.  While no one is too much of a nazi about that stuff, it's just the general culture here to do things a more fun way, less WAAC.  I try to be down on Mondays and the weekend albeit rarely on the latter.

Regardless of who rules that pack of space puppies (who can ever really tell anyways, haha.) Steve just shows his fangs more. The Rock will NOT be grounds for any type of appology. Try to assume that one will be given and you will be in error Murph.  We Dark angels are much toostubborn to admit we're were wrong, if that were to ever happen that is.   

Like Rich said before we're not much for formallities around here and we just have a lot fun Grimwulfe. Catch ya in a game sometime.

Are there any rules of the list that I should be aware of?  Such as only painted figures can be played etc.  No food or drink anything like that?

The opposite of those.  We are very relaxed, and if you don't have a painted army/painted figures it doesn't matter.  Of course if you become a regular we may start insulting you.

People generally eat and drink while playing.  If it's like a full meal they leave it on one of the plastic tables as opposed to next to or on the gaming table itself.  Basically come on down on Saturday/Monday/any day you organize a game on the board and you'll find basically how we work.
