I hope that this is just the first one and they are planning one for all the major craftworlds. I want my Biel-tan one.

"Craftworld Eldar" was the first supplement for 3rd Ed Eldar. Eldar then got a new dex in 4th and it became obsolete for 2 1/2 editions.. seems like the they could bring it back.

Btw in 3rd Edition you could play as Biel-tan, but I guess some people didn't like playing against 60 Fire Dragons ;)

I would definately pay good money to get some clan specific Ork rules and fluff.

Or bring back Freebooterz I want me some traktor kannons and Ork Genestealer hybrids.
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

I think Genestealer Cults is the best idea for another supplemental codex...  tyranids could use more variety.
Name:  Matthew Forsyth
Club:  Errybody in the gettin tips
Where I play: basically I only show up for tourneys or when I'm on my way up to New Hampshire to visit my folks.  I live about 45 mins from both stores, to the south.

Tyranids are going to get a massive makeover since they can not take current allies.. they will play like no other faction in the game. This was stated last summer when no one beleived that GW would ever dream of releasing 1 new codex/month.. well, beleive it now.

This Eldar launch is going very well.  I'm out of almost everything.

I've placed 3 different orders trying to stay ahead of Eldar stuff this week, but people keep coming in and requesting / buying a bunch of it.  It's makes me so happy to see people this excited about a launch.

There seems to be a few ways to take an Eldar army and people are interested in exploring all of them.  So cool.  I can't wait to see the new models on the tables.

sorry I haven't gotten to much new stuff for my eldar. I wanted to really read before I up from 20000. Plus I have to redo my point to see where I stand with total points.

well I want at least 1 wraithknight. I only have 12 wraithgaurd so I need to make the cc group. I only have 6 warp spiders because i didn't like them so much before now they are better so I will up to 2 group. A spiritseer and the new farseer if possible. Most things I try to have 2 squads for flexability in list building because of after playing so long I want to be able to change up how I play them for fun.

Using the rules in Iyanden allows you, for example, to take a Wraithknight as your Warlord. If that's not a fearsome prospect for your opponents to face then I don't know what is. There are also Iyanden-specific Warlord traits and the option to take a council of Spiritseers, plus three new battle missions and five scenarios to fight with your army. There are even stratagems for Cities of Death and Planetstrike for you to use on an unsuspecting enemy.

When you start talking about mission types, cities of death, planetstrike and strategems, this has me worried about the rules content.  No one uses those rules.  How "legit" are options, such as taking your wriath knight as an HQ going to be?

Yup.  HQ is a force org slot - Warlord is the guy who has the special skill! :)

Interesting point.  I wonder if it's just more poor wording on the part of GW or if it's intended.

It seems to me like the selling point so far is getting the Wraithknight as an HQ (not just a warlord).

Not really.  Or, specifically, you have to be an HQ first to be the warlord.  Not really the point, anyway.
