I had:

1 Riptide (SMS, Ion, Early Warning)

1 Tetra (for those that don't know, it's AV10 open-topped, 2 HP, and has a 4 shot Markerlight.  Also a free disruption pod and 1 twin-linked pulserifle)

1 Skyray (no extras)

13 Kroot with snipers

6 Firewarriors.

I love the brakets! This shows a clear cut display of how specific codecies performed. Example both Tau players did real well. Codex Space Marine players were all in the low Bracket. I find it an interesting coilation.

One tau player finished first in the top bracket, one finished last in the same bracket.

For the record, the SM player I played had two sniper scout squads, a storm talon, and a dreadnought.  I think that was probably the second hardest list I had to fight, and I only did real well against it because he just flubbed a lot of saves.

Removing the HQ requirement was so the right move. That's a really good spread of different armies across the board.

I'm going to tell you (you don't have to believe me) but it's not the Riptide, it's the marker lights.

Marker lights appear to be very, very, very good.

Honestly, the riptide wasnt that bad. It was all the frigging marker lights making the BS much higher.

My dreadnaught stood and fought the riptide for 3 full rounds of combat with it, but i think what helped was that he never rolled a overload on his riptides reactor the whole game. wouldve helped with my dreadnaught inflicting 3 wounds on it

also dint help my stormtalon dint want to hit with any of it weapons, nor did my scouts or attack bike. My last and final scout ran up to the tetra and tried to throw a grenade but like the who game, he missed and got blown up by the riptide next

Uh oh.  I wonder what kind of broken thing you have thought of... I'm not sure I've seen or thought of anything better than the flyrant + tervigon thing (which is now retired at least from me, since I'm sure I'll never play the same army twice at these things), but I wouldn't put it past you...
