No more Stormravens for BA or GK.... :(

Q:LandSpeederStorms,StormravenGunships and
StormtalonGunships are all listed as SpaceMarine vehicles
in the Reference section.Does this mean that every Space
MarineChapter now has access to these vehicles as well (i.e.

A: No–you may only select units and vehicles that are
available in the armylist section of your codex. The two
exceptions are the Stormtalon and Stormraven Gunships,
which are only available to armies chosen from Codex:
SpaceMarines and Codex: BlackTemplars. The rules for these
Flyers can be found in the Death From the Skies
compendium.

I grant you that this is a copy paste screwup, but for the time being, it would appear that BA and GK are screwed...  Thoughts?

False, they already have the Stormraven printed in the book.  This post pertains only to those codexes that do not have it printed in their book (space wolves, DA, templars, vanillas, etc).  This is to cover/explain that not EVERYONE is getting the stormraven added in.  Just codex marines and templars get it added in now.  BA and GK are still able to use the stormraven as listed.

Rumors are that each codex has a unique missile and/or upgrade.  Blessed hull on a SR would be pretty nasty.

It says clearly in the FAQ that storm ravens are an exception to what's in the army list.

This is way I'm reading it.

If you had access to Land Speeder Storms, Stormraven Gunships and Stormtalon Gunships in your codex, you still have access.

Codex: Space Marines and Codex: Black Templar now have access to these vehicles.

I don't know why they just don't say that.

I agree that is likely what they intended, but I believe the way it is written currently, is that now,  in an exception to what is in all army books, the Stormraven (and etc.) are only available in C:SM and C:BT.  That said, I'm all for "Rules as Written, unless I think it's stupid" in this case

I think what they mean, for example, is that Blood Angels and Grey Knights cannot use Storm Talons.
