I don't even know you dude. I've formed all sorts of opinions about you too based on your forum postings.....most of them not good, either. Did you want me to tell you about them? I'd rather not actually, it wouldn't be helpful. Maybe I'd like you in real life, maybe I wouldn't. It's probably better I find that out then, I think.
I really still don't feel at ALL apologetic about pointing out that Horus Heresy rules are not meant to be used alongside normal 40k rules......because they're not. Many people objected to my objecting.....ok? I really don't care, it's silly and makes about as much sense as allowing super-heavies. Being in the minority doesn't really change that. No one really wound up taking horus heresy anything, so go figure.
Tournaments aren't usually considered casual. Nonetheless everyone told me the abington doubles tournament was going to be a casual day. I took a casual list, I was playing with my buddy who plays 40k like 3 or 4 times a year. I took a Tau special character that really isn't especially good, I just like the model and own the book.
First turn I run into Alex Fennel and a (newly) classic all ravenwing with devastation banner list. Alright. Alex was a perfect gentleman, but it kinda pisses me off that everyone was hyping what a casual event it was going to be, and a few people said, "this may not be your kinda event, Matt", mostly because I dared to comment one the ruloeset.
I'm really not interested in discussing this any more in public. If you feel a desperate need to talk about it, YOU can msg ME if you want. That's what I meant, btw Troy--if you really want to talk to me about it, I can let you know everything I think, but I didn't especially feel the need. But, y'know, thanks for keeping it quiet and all.
