Fantasy League Week 1 (750-1250)

So we've started the Fantasy League.  Tonights meeting was a little bit chaotic as people tried to wrap their minds around the way everything works.

We ended up with 14 players representing 11 different armies:

After some dicussion about the rules (Mighty Empires) we jumped right into the challenge phase.

During the Conquest and Build phase the following happened:

The Chaos Dwarves (Rob) raided their land and add 90 gold to their treasury.
The Ogres (Rich) raided their land and add 50 gold to their treasury.
The Lizardmen (Ron) have laid claim to a new piece of land!
The Wood Elves (Jared) have laid claim to a new piece of land!
The Skaven (Steve) have laid claim to a new piece of land!
The Vampire Counts (Ian) have laid claim to a new piece of land!
The Wood Elves (Ben) have laid claim to a new piece of land!
The Arimes of Chaos (Murph) have laid claim to a new piece of land!
The Vampire Counts (Josh) have laid claim to a new piece of land!
The Bretonnians (Nick) have laid claim to a new piece of land!
The Orcs (Paul) have laid claim to TWO new pieces of land!  They have also built a mine in one of those new areas.
The Lizardmen (Kevin) have laid claim to TWO new pieces of land!  They have also built a mine in one of those new areas.
The High Elves (Tim) have laid claim to a new piece of land!  They then raided their territory and add 50 gold to their treasury.


This concludes week 1 of the league.

Hey Murph, I get the nasty feeling that there will be enough down time between the carnage this saturday to get the game in.  Either that or sometime Sunday.  I'll bring warhammer stuff to both in case your free so we can get the game in.  Right now it's 750, but I might be able to paint some more skinks by then.
