Ok so when is the next 500 pt event? And can it be in Abington this time?

Abington will get PLENTY of tournaments so long as the community there responds well to them.

I tried to make the Doubles as appealing as possible to the Abington community and I'm really hoping we see a lot of teams made up of people that frequent the store.


The 500 point events are awesome, and I fully intend to set one up in Abington as soon as we're sure there's a player base that's interested in tournaments there.  It really needs 24-32 players to function properly.  We shouldn't have trouble getting that many if even half the players with 40k stuff come out for it.

Just have to get the community there playing the game in the store again.

My Bjorn the Fell-Handed list was fantastic. He wrecked face and i'd say I did far better with him than i expected.

From getting immobilized yet still punching (and killing)a Def-Dread and a Killa-Kan at the same time to sweating off lance and las shots with a 5+ invuln... the dice were on Bjorn's side.

From all 5 battles. He only lost a total of 3 Hull-points, not to shabby.

Besides that I was really surprised to take out a Necron flyer when it came out of reservers with only a dozen tau and a lucky plasma shot from my grey hunters...

Definitely one of the best tourneys.
