So I want to know, who won? Who lost? What where the winning lists? What where the prizes?

Todd Silber, out of Connecticut (home store The Battle Standard) won Best General - $400 store credit, using his Dark Eldar.  He missed 2 out of a possible 129 battle points.   It's a mixed mech list anchored by a Grotesque deathstar led by Urian and (crap, blanking), the Baron(?).

Alex Fennell (home store also TBS) won Player's Choice, fielding his pink Necrons with Chaos Space Marine allies.  Alex as usual has a mixed bag of stuff; just two flyers in the Necron portion, the CSM were a Daemon Prince and some cultists.  Same prize.

Thanks very much, once again, to Chase, Ben, Sam, and everyone else involved in organizing and running this and other events.  The hard work is much appreciated and it was a ton of fun.  Thanks to Jordan, Tiago, and Dan for three great, fun games, and to the whole crowd of guys who show up at this great store and make these events so sociable and competitive, in particular the guys who always put in the effort to bring fully-painted, attractive armies.  You guys rock!

Yeah, it's nice when the community comes out in big numbers a bunch of times so that we can give out solid prizes.

Results will be up tomorrow.

I had a great time, thanks to everybody who put the invitational on, and to everyone who played.  I had three excellent games, which was awesome.  Thanks in particular to Ben, both for our super fun game (HEADSHOT!) and for all the work he did to make this thing happen.

Brad, I sent Chase the picture I took right before the HEADSHOT! Hopefully it'll get posted up with the event pictures. Pride before the fall...

Heheheh.  Fear the mighty Scout!  Even Bill learned that, as my Scout sergeant beat the crap out of his gargoyles..... solo.  Granted, he was the only effective model in that whole game, but the point stands  ;D

After numerous attempts to heal his grevious injuries, the Blood Angels Apothecarium has selected Scout Sergeant Norris ( ;)) for interment in the Contemptor Pattern Dreadnought "Ucksay It Argoylesgay" so that he can put a much larger boot up Gargoyle bum for centuries to come.
