Dark Eldar to Dark Elves

I've had a Dark Eldar army for a while now, but I don't play 40K. So I've been turning it into a fantasy Dark elf army. These are some of the work in progress pictures. The only model that's finished is the cauldron of blood. I'm concentrating on just getting it tournament legal right now. Then Ill work on making everything look really good. So you will notice most of the models have unpainted or only primed arms.

First the center piece of the army, My cauldron of blood. Its made with a Mortis engine, some foam board and a few Dark Eldar witches. The statue of Kain is a Hordes miniature. Great because the scale is a little bit bigger then Warhammer.

Next is the Nasty part of my army.
3 Units of 6 Shades

Each one has some cool stuff on the bases, I wanted it to all look like my army is raiding a farming village, so lots autumn farm stuff

The Dark riders, Ill have 15 when im done
They still need a lot of work. Dark eldar reaver jet bike riders of wood elf horses with Dark elf crossbows.

Witch elves. They are pretty much the same in fantasy and 40K. They just need some touch ups

dude this is insanely awesome, i can't wait to see it in person! really great job, especially the cauldron. it came out fantastic!

Thanks guys. I know they still need a lot of work, but I'm excited with what I've got so far. Ill have them "legal" for the Lost Legion Tournament. Then its all detail work until TempleCon. By then I want to have the army and a display board finished.

I got My Dark Riders Based and partially painted



And a picture of the whole army. Just waiting on those spear men bits in the mail...

Finally got all the bits in the mail that I needed to assemble the spear men unit. Got a few layers of paint on them. Now I just need to do some detail work.
