Battleground Abington Store is Moving!
« on: November 14, 2012, 01:23:54 PM »
After 10 years at 1501 Bedford Street in Abington, Battleground will be relocating 30 seconds down the road to a much bigger, much better location. The space is an open, spacious 2200 square feet, with 25' high ceilings and a beautiful, bright, glass storefront. The store is currently being custom designed to our specifications and the goal is to bring you the best possible game store we can create.

More seating will be available for every type of game we offer. New terrain for miniature wargaming, and more seating for card players, board gamers, and role-players. There will be increased options for food, beverages, entertainment, tournaments, and miniature painting.

The store will likely be a work in progress for some time after we open our new doors, but we plan to open in early December. Hopefully, we'll only have to be closed for a day or two.

If you're interested in volunteering to help us relocate, you can e-mail me at derek@battlegroundgames.com. Tentatively, we are planning to close the Abington store on Sunday, December 2nd and try to reopen at the new location on Tuesday, December 4th at the latest. If everything proceeds as planned, we can take all the help we can get on Sunday, December 2nd.

Here are a few pictures of the new location:

Grand Opening party/ game tournament?

There definitely will be. Probably several.  :D

Due to the construction issues, however, I can't supply reliable hard dates yet.

Stay tuned!

There's a stupid amount of parking.
