I am a bit murky with how plauge Zombies work. The descriotion with Typhus is Vauge on how they are equipped and what their stat line should be.

Cultists Stat Line - 1 Attack, only have 1 Close Combat weapon.  Other than that, its out of the book.  The Cultist Champion also loses an attack by "upgrading".
0000 - Rest Period - BUT YOU BETTER NOT SPEND FOUR WHOLE HOURS SLEEPING. IF YOU DO YOU ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH AND TOMORROW YOU GET THE FIRST CHANCE TO PLAY PIN THE TAU ON THE CARNIFEX.

So basically plague zombies are close combat only cultists?

Yeah, they seriously not worth it, not when you can kit out a better Lord than Typhus.

The irony of this post is awesome.

I disagree, Typhus, I think you're awesome and I love your zombies.

Fearless is solid gold when the unit's main job is just to be there.

Where I play: basically I only show up for tourneys or when I'm on my way up to New Hampshire to visit my folks.  I live about 45 mins from both stores, to the south.

FNP doesn't hurt, either. 40 points for 10 jerks with fearless and FNP to sit on an objective? I am down.

t3, and they aren't marked for Nurgle, so they do nothing for an Epidemus list.

If it gets FAQ'ed to a max number (35), this motley squad will be one of the best tarpits in 40k. Only anti tank will remove their FNP.  Quantity over quality. 140 points for 35 fearless dudes all with a 5+ save.  That is just a hair over the cost of a base squad of plague marines.

T3 with Feel No Pain means that to make sure they are dead you need to dedicate str 6 or more to them which is usually Plasma,Melta, and Missiles in most lists which is then not Firing at your Other stuff.
I ride in on my Bike with my Hat of awesome and say Nay this place should be on fire.

Of course they do. You drop the Typhus plate that hurts everything but followers of nurgle and get the tally up. Lambs for the slaughter.
