Here's an idea! Hows about on the opening day of BG-Weymouth we have the crazyest Apocalypse game ever. We can call it
Battleground Weymouth: OPENING SLAVO!!!We should be able to use everything, nothing will be banned. We should also use the crazy terrain rules from 6th edition.
And the Vortex Warp that I was writing about when we started talking about this years megabattle.
Basically we use two (or more) tables, at the beginning of the game turn, starting at turn 2 on one randomly chosen table. Place a 10" pie plate at the center of the table. Scatter that plate 6d6 inches. Everything, (Units, terrain features, fortifications, superheavies, objectives,...EVERYTHING) that is at least partially touching the pie plate, deepstrike 6d6 inches from the center of the other table, ignoring disrupter beacon and all other effects that stop deep striking, but with normal deepstrike mishap rules. Super heavies that deepstrike are immune to mishap, and if they hit another unit automatically make a stomp attack on the unit they hit. Terrain also ignores mishap, an if it hits another unit appears around the unit and the unit is now in that terrain. This CAN take units out of close combat.
then enjoy the chaos
