Battlefoam Question for the store
« on: July 07, 2012, 11:34:22 AM »
Chase (or anyone else who works for the store)

Is Battleground a Battlefoam distributor?  I want to start picking up a few precut trays and would rather dump money into the store than order them from Battlefoam.

Thanks a good question.  I've been checking them out recently and am now saving and prepping to buy me one of their carriers.

Sorry for the delayed response, I'm coming off of a crazy past 36 hours involving lots and lots of Magic Prerelease shenanigans and the opposite amount of sleep.

Battleground in Abington is set up to order direct from Battlefoam.  We can get anything they offer through their website, although the custom cut (user designed) trays tend to take a lot longer to arrive.

Some things people should know about the store ordering Battlefoam:

We place an order either:  When the minimum order requirement (which is substantial) is hit or roughly every other month.  I believe we have several requests for foam currently, so I expect an order to go out soon.  Plus, Plainville needs some more bags.

Battlefoam does not always have popular items in stock for us to order on demand.  This can cause the entire order (or parts of the order) to be delayed.  For instance, the last time we ordered we were told that the 720 bags weren't going to be in stock for another month or so.

Battlefoam can take a while to finally get the stuff to us.  It's usually a 7-10 day ship (similar to some GW special order items).

The stuff is always sent to Abington, so getting it to Plainville usually takes another day or two.

If people are interested in ordering Battlefoam I encourage them to email me exactly what they would like.  I am more than happy to facilitate getting their product for you and greatly appreciate you guys using us.

If you would like a custom cut tray, please email me with the image you've created in their tray creator thingy.  The normal precut trays are usually in stock and easy to get.
