Basically, I have news but it's not worth reporting just yet.  My rep was "out sick" today so I don't know if the "issue" can be resolved or not.

Long story sort:  Thing looks grim, folks.  We have been screwed over AGAIN.

This is really disappointing.  I was really hopeing to get the gamer's edition this time around because of how cool it looked.  There's some on ebay right now but they are going between 117 and 400 with a few dozen bids on the cheaper ones... doesn't look hopeful.  The satchal alone is going for 60 a pop!  Maybe a strongly worded letter from me to GW will make me feel better (to be fair, most of my anger and frustration is aimed at work, but GW can have some too!)

I was more interested in the dice and the markers vs the satchel anyway, but heres hoping you have some luck with GW

Disappointed that there will likely be no satchels in my future.  I was really hopin for one.  Chase, I know you tried for us so I thank you, sucks that GW failed so massively and screwed you and us.  Hope you have done strong words for the rep when you finally get him on the phone!

So I finally got in touch with my rep and was able to talk about the situation and possible "solutions."

The only item I could find that resembled the satchel was the Fast Attack Bag.  Long story short, GW is willing to send us Fast Attack Bags in place of the lost / missing satchels.

I have been assured that all of the satchels are gone, so getting them is not an option. 


I will be emailing all of you (except Tilarium, because I do not have his email).

Battlegrounds really has nothing to apologize about. None of this was battlegrounds doing. As far as i am concerned you guys have bent over backwards and then some to make us happy, and it seems to me in the forums everyone is clear on that.
Am I disappointed about not getting the satchel? Sure somewhat, but I certainly have more important things to worry about than the possession of a particular satchel.
I for one like the idea of the fast attack bag. seems like a decent alternative to me as well, so pencil me in for one of those.
