Special Edition 6th Edition Rulebook Delivery Update

I've got good news and I've got bad news.

All standard items have arrived and they are available for sale on Saturday.
Standard items include:
40K 6th Edition Rulebooks
Munitorum Templates
Munitorum Tape Measures
40K Psychic Power Cards

The BAD news:

It looks like the Collector's Edition books and the Gamer's Edition Sets will NOT be arriving for the weekend. My FedEx delivery link says the following:

Obviously, this is going to disappoint a large number of people at both locations. GW is entirely at fault for this (I literally don't know what they were thinking). At this point, we'll do the best we can to accommodate people, but my hands are pretty tied. There's nothing I can do to make the special edition books arrive any sooner.

I'm so disappointed that our players who ordered the higher quality books will be forced to wait extra days for their items, and we apologize on behalf of Games Workshop for this top to bottom mess. At the very least, there will be plenty of books being opened and available for us to play and begin learning the rules.

No. The dice go on sale in a few weeks, I think.

I was looking at the tape measure... so, who is going to be the first to convert the servo skull to include a laser pointer for line of sight purposes?

One possible solution that we can try to do is that anyone who ordered a Gamers' Edition could take a 40K rulebook so they'll have it to read over the weekend and then we can just remove the rulebook from the Gamers' Edition when it actually comes in.

Obviously, there's no good solution for those who ordered a Collector's Edition book.

That's a really good solution, at least for the ones with the gamers edition, and I'm down to do that.  That's weird that they didn't even bother to ship them until the 28th, how did they expect them to get there in time for a release?  And did I read right that the dice in the lasgun clip are there?  I thought those were due in a few weeks.  I'm planning to pick up the objectives and vehicle dice.  Mostly cause I need two more clips to fill my satchal when it shows up.

Looks like I was wrong about the dice. You're correct, they release in a few weeks. Regular rulebooks, templates, tape measures, and power cards are what we received.

I cannot even fathom what they were thinking delaying the special edition shipments until yesterday.
