as for the gamer and collectors editions be glad you ordered through a store a few people on warseer report that after ordering the gamer edition from the gw site the day it went on sale they where told yesterday that they would not be getting it at all and instead got a refund and some dice as a consolation prize.

Chase, define different.  My gamer's is heading to Plainville but if Abington got a different order I'm nervous that Plainville will not be receiving the correct order either.

I feel like Chase Needs some Cupcakes. Chase I talked to my brother and he says that is alright he didn't preorder so he didn't get his hopes up. If you still have Regular Copies I will probably be picking that up for him on Thursday.

The GW screw up would have been apparent to us upon billing if we had know for sure what the books were going to cost us.  What I was told by my GW rep was inaccurate but we were billed for the books that were shipped (an incorrect number of books).

Without getting into a long list of boring details, we have every reason to believe we will be able to cover everyone's preorder that I have not already spoken with.  The books will be in their proper location this Thursday night at the latest, barring any more FedEx delays (like we saw today).

Currently, there is exactly one Gamer's Edition in Plainville (which belongs to Pat Mulvey who did me an amazing favor by relinquishing his hold on a Collector's Edition).  All the other Gamer's Editions should arrive on Thursday.

Had all intentions to stop up today to exchange my rulebook for my ordered gamer's edition.  Only that I just now got home from work and have to be back in at 8 tonight again.  I hope this upcoming shift isn't a repeat of the recently ended one and I'll beable to get up Friday.  We'll see how that goes... off to not bed because I have to take my dad to the doctors later!

Oh... So the latest episode in this whole nightmare is that the delivery is now scheduled for July 9th.

We are going to see if we can drive to a warehouse and get them instead.

Chase, thanks for the update.  I can't speak for others, but thanks to the offer to let us get a copy of the rule book last saturday I'm not in a rush to get it.  It is crazy and annoying that they keep changing the delivery day.  I'd love to know how they justify it.

Like the man said above Chase, thanks for looking out for us by swapping us basic copies of the rules so we had them untill our gamers copies arrived.

I'd be pretty livid with GW if i still hadn't been able to crack the rules untill the 9th, but thanks to you we've already been able tp put them to good use.

Hopefully GW gets their heads out of their asses and we see the gamers editions on monday

No prob, dudes.  I'm happy we were able to do something to help out.  The Gamer's Edition extras are pretty sweet.  It's worth the wait, even if the wait shouldn't have had to happen.


I'm pissed at GW for sure.  The whole thing was a complete train wreck from start to finish.  It boned my awesome, loyal customers, caused nothing but stress on our end, and cost the business no small amount of money overall.

What's done is done.  Once I'm able to get your guys your stuff I'm going to try to forget about everything and make sure we get some awesome events lined up for the future.

How about an 11 table Thursday 40k, huh?  Pretty rad in my opinion.  I'd LOVE to see that keep happening.
