It is great that you guys are understanding, even when GW does it's best to make independent stores look bad.

That's ok.  I just got told by Matt up at Pandemonium that he will be unable to fulfilll my pre-order of both the Gamers and the Collector's.

So here's the deal...

I will be able to fill EVERYTHING BUT 1 Collector's Edition across both stores.

In exchange for the 1 Collector's Edition we were not sent, they are sending me 5 more Gamer's Editions.  This is by accident, mind you.

Games Workshop charged Battleground 3 times for 3 different orders, none of which exactly correct.  :)  The results were:

Plainville was sent 4 fewer Collector's Editions than requested and 1 fewer Gamer's Editions than requested.

Abington was sent 3 more Collector's Edition's than requested and 6 more Gamer's Editions.

We need to do a bit of shuffling on Friday night it seems.

Now, if anyone would like to forgo their Collector's Edition and "trade down" to a Gamer's or a normal book, please let me know.  If not, I will take care of it and all customers will end up with what they've asked for.

If you would like to claim one of the 5 extra Gamer's Editions, let me know ASAP.  I will do what I can to get you one of them.

That actually worked out pretty smooth if all they shorted you was 1 collector's edition.  I have no doubt those extra gamer's editions will be sold very quickly...  Something tells me that on Saturday people are going to see how amazingly awesome the gamer's edition is and want to upgrade  LOL

EDIT:  See see see!  I told you they would go fast!

Chase you are my hero.

So, everyone, the lesson is, order stuff from Battlegrounds, and Battlegrounds will fight to get you what you need!

Chase, apparently some stores are selling the new edition on Friday.  Any chance you guys will be doing that?  It would actually be much more convenient to pick up on Friday.

Are other stores even allowed to do that? I could see some stores selling at midnight going into Saturday.

We will not.

If I were going to be around I would have done a midnight release thing late Friday night, but I made plans to go away for the weekend before I knew the release date.  :(
