Some important details regarding the league:

1)  Your league sheets must be turned into the store before you leave each night.  You will receive a new league sheet at the beginning of each week.  Your league sheet will be the ONLY thing used to score your points.

2)  We are imposing a painting limit on the league.  A player may not score more than 18 painting points per week.  This has been done to keep painting scores in line with game play scores (and to give the working folks a chance against students with the summer off).   8)

3)  Players MUST show me, another Battleground staff member, or Erik their unpainted models in order to receive credit for the finished product.  Please note on your score sheet which model you are presenting and have that staff member or Erik initial next to it.  If you can not make it to the store to get your models checked out, please take a picture of the model or unit and email it to me (or post it here) with something indicating the date in the photo.  It's not that I don't trust you... It's just that I don't trust you.  ;)  Let's keep it legit.  If you're stripping models, send me a picture of the stripped models.

4)  If you have no interest in the patches provided in the league kit, please let me know.  As it stands I need to order one more kit "booster."  If people do not care about the patches and would like to give them back to me so that I can give them to players that DO care, that would be great.  Every kit "booster" I order eats into the prize support for the league, so if you don't want them let's recycle!!

5)  Please pass this information on to players that don't read the boards.

Thanks dudes.  Great turnout on Friday.  Awesome to see that.

damn, i just finished the Bosun, and i want to seal it, but first I have to wash it, but it will be a while till i can get the wash, and the primer is kinda crappy, so it is going to get all chipped before i can seal it. Pisser. still though, 2 points!

So what do I do about the models I started painting yesterday before this rule was in place?

Post pics of what you got done?

I added pics to my Stormwall thread. I'll dump photos there or in here if need be to document my work. I think between my work schedule, not always having everything on me and the fact I'll definitely miss a few weeks of the league it'll be better for me to post images online. I'll present them in person when I can, but its hard to say when that will be and if Chase or Erik will be around then.

Ack, I took my sheet as well. I'll have it for this week along with pictures of the models I'm painting. As much fun as Zerkova is, I can't see her being effective until 25-35 points.

I'd check with Chase on joining but I don't think there are any penalties to joining late. You'll just be missing out on a week's worth of getting points. As for myself I just want to play the game and could care less about points.

I believe this week is 15 points and no restrictions.

You can join whenever you want to join within the 6 week period! Of course if you come in late you will be missing all of the points from the weeks you havnt been present. Come down and play some games!
