not sure how exactly it will work in 6e but in the more recent doubles tourny rules unholy alliances  (that is two armys that might work together but dont trust eachother at all) had to roll 1d6 per unit on the first turn and on a 1 be forced to go to ground for the first turn of the game. not horribly crippleing but easily capable of destroying your chances of winning a serious game if your heavy weapon squad or land raider full of assault termies decides to do nothing turn one.

I personally want to see more random charts for things like that..and perils of the warp damit I want a 2d6 chart of random effects some potentially useful some horrible and deadly.

Right now Allies of Convenience will not benefit from any Special effects of the Army they are allied with. They Can not have IC join Allied Army units.  For all Purposes you treat those Allies as Enemies and Vice Versa except you can't put templates over them when shooting.

So if you take Say Eldrad as an Ally you will Shut down your Own Psykers as well.

It has been thought out there is a Penalty. Everything here is out of the Rulebook Games-Workshop posted a Video Saturday it has I think 5 pages from the Rulebook Including the Vehicles, Flyers, Psykers, and A portion of the Allies page.

OMGOMGOMGOMOMGOMG!!!

The person you linked to is saying that Rage now gives you an extra attack when you charge, and NOTHING ELSE.   It has been converted from a severe drawback into an advantage.

That will make my Sisters Repentia into one of the best units of the game, like Wraiths-good.   For 176 points I can get 36 Chainfist attacks on the charge.

reading through these confirmed rumors I am starting to get pumped.... VERY pumped.   Everything is getting buffed with more capabilities... which maybe means NOTHING is truly getting buffed...  but these new rules all seem designed to make it more fun to play with different types of units.

In 5th, if it has rage, it must always move full speed directly towards the nearest visible enemy, and charge said enemy if possible.  In 6th (supposedly), if it has rage, it can move however it wants, plus it gets an extra attack when it charges.

"Don't get mad, get even", I suppose.

So obviously this makes all units that had rage WAY WAY WAY way way WAY way better than they were in 5th.
