Thursdays are the only night that is dedicated for my gaming in general.  So, *shrug*.  I'm like some aloof gaming nomad.

Just expect there to be some conflicts and lack of table space.

To me, it makes more sense to secure a day where 40k can really shine, rather than compete with other games. I think the availability Plainville has on their Thursdays is part of what enables such a vibrant community. Its a shame that Thursday is the best day for you, but it doesn't seem that way for 40k where I'm standing.

EDIT: Spelling.

There are a bunch of new players at Abington and a group of people (including myself) are trying to "re kickstart" Saturday 40K. I'm just starting a new eldar army so I'm with you! Mabey you could rename this "Abington 40K night"

I am in for this Saturday.  I will bring my Nids, even though (sadly) they are not all painted.  I am looking forward to it!

Just sayin'. ;)

WM/H could probably coexist with 40k on Thursdays with minimal problems, but I'm skeptical. By far the biggest conflict I see is with the Necromunda league. With the city terrain everyone loves being an absolute necessity for us, I'm really worried that what we have been working on for a long time will be kind of a crap shoot as far as getting league games is concerned.

New city tables are in the works. For this year's Megabattle, the plan is to make the "main table" be a 6 table long city (incorporating the three already existing city tables + three new ones).

Work is commencing soon.

It looks like there is no chance of it based on the responses in this thread but I strongly urge the group to not land on Friday. Our FNMs have been very large lately and we have needed to extend to the front tables.

Saturdays would be a great day, I think, to get some Warhammer on. Lots of new people tend to wander in that day, which would be great to grow/replenish the community. Also, people might occasionally journey down to Plainville's Thursday night 40k and vice versa if we get different days happening at each location. At the least, it would create the option.

I like that a lot. 2 communities = 1 giant community.

Saturdays also give me time to break heads with my Lamenters.

Saturday=whole day of playing. and it used to be the 40k day in Abington.  I'd also prefer Saturdays.
