I love how this only works on an I-Pad. Any one else notice that?

Woot!  Yeah, I really don't want to have to get an iPad once some books I want come out.  Anyone else expecting the new rule book to be digital (and hopefully hard copy aswell)?

Officially digital? Hard to say. But many higher-level players simply have all the books on a mobile device already. Have a codex specific rules question and your opponent "forgot" his? No problem! But he didn't print out the Errata/FAQs? To the Interwebs! All of the books eventually get scanned and shared, and GW tries to stop it. They'd be much better off selling digital copies on their website, for sure.

I expect a digital copy to be available after release.  I don't suspect they will make it available right away.  It wouldn't be a great business move in my opinion.

Is an I-Pad worth getting for just GW codecies? I dont think so gimme the real deal a pen and papper. while convient im not dishing out over 300 bucks to have the lowest end I-Pad so i can cary digital rules and save my army lists.
