Meh, im still kind of nervous about Colossals. Its not that im worried about them being over powered, im just wary of them changing the game dynamic and making it were it is one whole army against one model/deathstar. I might be getting nervous about nothing, but i am still not sold on them.
Isn't that the same thing. I think in order for them to change the dynamic of the game in a drastic way where its an army against a deathstar then that model would have to be overpowered since no one in their right mind would pit a shit model vs an entire army.
The closest thing colossals may do is motivate a player to make one of their tournament lists adept at killing high ARM targets.
The battle report in the new NQ does a good job of showing how they can be both deadly as well as how they can be dealt with. The Kraken gets beat down by the Behemoth and the Conquest gets tied up by Pistol Wraiths.
Anyway, I'm buying two of these guys because I have a sickness when it comes to Cygnar models and owning multiples of them. The rules are pretty sweet. I'm excited about the "Thresher" + Electroleap combination
