[Battleground] Megabattle 2012 - August 18th

I will probably be borrowing a couple of Valkyries from a friend for the megabattle.  I would like to use them as Vendettas.  I would convert them if they were my models.  If there are objections, I will use them as Valkyries.

As long as they're painted to table top standards, I don't think it should be a problem.  Then again, I'm not sure how closely Valks compare to Vendettas in appearance.

Different weapon load outs.

Twin linked lascannons vs... not twin linked lascannons.

The hull and basic rules/stats are identical.  The valkyries have a lascannon, 2 heavy bolters, and 2a rocket pods, while the vendettas have 3 TL lascannons.

I think if that's allowed, subbing certain titan arms out for a different weapon than modeled should be, too.

ide say keep them as Valkyries for simplicity sake. The game calls for WUSIWUG so they need to have the correct weapon load out.

So I'm going to guess that the table layouts will be revealed on the day of the Megabattle?

I know in the past we've had knowledge of them at least a month or so prior to the day of the game, but I think this will add a nice little element to it this year, if this is indeed the case.
