One question. Last year there was alot of talk about what units could benefit from what rules and effects granted by other players equipment and units. Normally we have ruled that only units in your army benefit from powers and effects of other units in your army, so things like guys that grant leadership to other space marines only effect your space marines. There where a few exceptions things like the tallyman of nurgle who I think we had granting his bonuses to all nurgle models.

there is one I have to bring up, The silver towers of tzeentch they possess protective wards that grant a cover save to friendly units and friendly vehicles with in 6 inches of them. Will the towers grant this cover to all disorder units in range or just to the units in the same army as the towers?

The Ork KFF got FAQed to say everyone (allies and enemies) benefit from the cover save.

Last year, the silver towers were ruled to protect other disorder players.

Yeah Silver towers don't react well to D weapons

Yeah. They're real squishy if you can ignore their cover.

which right now the towers special rule needs a rewrite because it grants the tower and other vehicles in range obscured, and other units gain a 4+ cover save, with obscured no longer in the game the tower currently has no effect on itself. though in a friendly game it could be assumed that now everyone gains the cover save, RAW the only effect the tower granted to itself is a rule that no longer exists.

Good job this is the mega battle then, we can play it with the silver tower getting its own cover save unless anyone has any objections?
