I'm sure there will be plenty.  It seems to me like this year will have fewer giant robots towering over everything though.

I think this is cool for lots of reasons.  I have finally come around and decided I don't think the amount of Str D matters very much.

At this point the only issue at all I have with the big titans is that people tend to "hold" them till all other shooting is done, THEN fire them.  It delays the game a little bit.

In our testing, we found similar results. There's only so much one really needs, after that the points are better spent on a cheaper threats that can engage larger targets.

just personally for me, I barely have interest in 5th edition now, nevermind when 6th ed has been out for a month and a half.  I thought this might be a really fun way to get into the new edition.

Did I miss a thread or a decision that established 5th edition for this year's Megabattle? I know that my last decision on it was that we would evaluate if there are any major conflicts between running Apocalypse "rules" with 6th edition before arriving at a definite conclusion.

Personally, it's my hope that 6th edition will be the rules set we use for the Megabattle. I would only consider NOT using the new rules if there were MAJOR conflicts between Apocalypse and 6th.

I think the Megabattle is very likely to be 6th edition unless we cannot reconcile it for some reason.
