Do most tournaments follow ETC style rules around here?  Draft 2 has a lot of core mechanics changes, but I understand it's a system designed for a special type of team based play.

ETC is great for keeping the game in check (the silly 8th ed stuff) but a few things:
 1) checking lists is a must. 
2) every player should know the game play changes including the etc specific FAQ. It does change some mechanics.  It is for ease of use stuff mostly, but still changes in the rules.
If we can do the above, then it should work, it can be a bit tricky for a newer player and hopefully folks can keep the rules straight.

Hey Chase, for the next WHFB tourny can we mabey do a doubles sort of deal like the 40K ones? Just throwing some ideas out there.

The next WHFB event will be doubles.  I'm not sure when it will be though.

hey guys, dont know if many of you remember me but the name is Garrett and i just recently started playing fantasy (building up a bretonnian army but have been out of state since college ended).   Me any my next door nieghboor are learning the rules and doing games to get practice in, but would love to get in on this doulbes tournament.  Both of us are fairly new (weve played a total of like 5 games so far) and I would like to come up and play in this torunament when it does happen.  I will be coming no matter what, but my nieghboor wanted to know if he could be on my team (we live in NY and its about a 3 hour ride, so he's not sure if he wants to tag along)

Hey all,

As a heads up Gamenight.net will be hosting a tournament on June 30th. It will be 3 rounds, run etc style lists, and be very similiar to the last one we held. If you plan on attending, please post in the other thread that I have made on here.
