Team games.... Interesting, very interesting.... On a sidenote - when setting up lists, if you decided to do the same army with both players, what was the ruling on field allowance?
(Wants to see a Minion & Mercenary army team-up.)

You were considered one list.  So you couldn't both take Dr. Arkadius (for example).  Any FA:C can only be in one list.

Yeah, like Keith said, any FA:C can only be in one list. If you both played Skorne only one Makeda would be allowed. Even if you don't play the same faction it applies to overlapping Merc/Minion models (i.e. only one Alten Ashley between the two of you).

I totally would go to this.  I couldn't make the Temple one, unfortunately.

Bummed I am missing the battlebox event.

I've always liked the idea. I don't know when the next BG tourney will be, but start talkin to friends about doubles lists. I'm going to try and write something up and get some opinions soon.

One problem with a team tournament is you essentially half the number of "players" in the event.

Are we cool with a 6 team tournament?

Getting 8 teams together would tie our highest turnout for WM/H and make for a pretty solid W/L event over 3 rounds.

I think we can do it.  People love team games.

So if it was considered one list, can 2 Khador players take 2 units of Widowmakers or still limited to just the 1?
I got a 1!....That's a good thing, right?

Unit restrictions are 'per caster'. So, if its FA 1 and there are 2 casters, you can have 2 but they'd have to be 1 in each list.

Do we have any consensus on how many points this might be?

I would say for time purposes, 25 each would make good sense.  It gets newer people in, plus 50 points is reasonably fast play time and allows everyone to have a solid list.

Keith will disagree here in... 5... 4... 3... 2...

Do we wanna wait for Colossals to be released first? ;D

I would literally never want to base a tournament on PP's release schedule. There's a good chance that the year ends before all 6 Colossals are released (for Warmachine never mind Hordes). There's no way they pull off one a month starting in June.

Still, I bet all the Colossals drop before I get my Avenger/Hammersmith/Centurion kit.

25 is harder to work with hordes, but for a doubles match I think it is fine
